Amber, LCMHC-A
Amber has been a practicing mental health counselor since 2006. Married to Didi (a pastor and native Hong Konger) and mom to three boys, Amber has worked in both private-practice and ministry contexts. However, her interest in serving Christian global workers solidified while she and her family were living in Hong Kong, where Amber experienced and witnessed the great need for counselors to come alongside those serving cross-culturally. Since returning stateside, Amber has remained passionate about providing this kind of care, and she is grateful to be part of the Valeo team.
In her free time, Amber loves to be outside in the North Carolina humidity, drink strong coffee with a good book, and spend time with family and friends.
